Chirattaputtu Maker

A Chiratta Puttu Maker is a traditional or stainless steel or Anna Aluminium utensil used to steam and cook chiratta puttu, a steamed South Indian breakfast dish, by placing it on a pressure cooker’s steam vent or in a steamer to create individual portions. These makers use steam to cook rice flour and grated coconut, ensuring the puttu comes out soft and perfectly steamed, mimicking the original method of cooking in a coconut shell.
