Chowary/Sabudana

abudana, also known as tapioca pearls or sago, is a starch extracted from the roots of the tapioca or cassava plant. The starch is processed into small, pearl-like spheres. It’s a staple ingredient in many Indian dishes, particularly during fasting periods (vrat). This is so because sabudana is loaded with starch – and hence energy, and does not contain any artificial sweeteners or chemicals.
